When it comes to picking a platform to publish your writing, both Substack and Squarespace have benefits so the best choice for you will depend on your goals .

Substack’s built-in readership is brilliant exposure for your writing however you are growing an audience on a third party platform (like with any social media) instead of adding to your own website’s traffic, overall SEO and visibility.

With a bit of planning you can get the benefits of both! 

You could: repurpose your Substack posts for your blog by adapting the format/go deeper on the subject matter (include visuals + more links) and use keywords + SEO best practices to build authority in the topic(s) that your business specializes in (Google loves quality content and is how you get displayed higher in search engine results). Finally promote your writing by linking your content to your fav platform: Instagram stories, LinkedIn, Pinterest, email newsletters etc.
